THE JASPER BROOCH blurb…

When siblings Bastien and Marcelle LeBlanc fail to show up in New Orleans to play in Remy Benoit’s jazz band, Remy is desperate. Accompanied by Clay McIntyre, the two men rush to Chicago to find out what happened to Remy’s childhood friends.
As soon as they break into Marcelle’s townhouse, the distinctive peat scent that is always present when people time-travel with a Celtic brooch has Remy’s heart pounding with dread. After a frantic search, they discover an invitation to a Great Gatsby-style fundraising gala. Afraid his friends have traveled back in time to Chicago in the 1920s, Remy is determined to rescue them before they get entangled in a town full of gangsters and speakeasies.
Meanwhile, Marcelle arrives in the past and is terrified when she witnesses a gangland killing. Skye Marshall, a jazz singer, drags her away from the scene and takes her to a speakeasy where her band performs. Marcelle volunteers to fill in for Skye’s absent trumpet player. Her innate talent and stage presence draw Al Capone’s attention. Marcelle wants nothing to do with the mobster but cannot refuse Skye. Skye wants to accept Capone’s offer to perform in one of his high-class restaurants, but the job hinges on Marcelle’s star power.
Remy and Clay arrive in 1928 Chicago. They are instantly drawn into a glamorous and dangerous world while navigating the perilous nightlife in search of Marcelle and Bastien. Luckily, it doesn’t take long to find Marcelle, who introduces them to Skye. Remy is instantly attracted to the beautiful and talented singer with a mysterious air.
Time ticks and urgency peaks. As a below-the-knee amputee, Bastien’s prosthetic has a robotic ankle with a forty-eight-hour power supply. As a last resort, and with lives hanging in the balance, Clay and Marcelle use the brooch to find her brother, leaving Remy and Skye to face Capone’s wrath and deadly threats.
The search for Bastien takes Clay and Marcelle in a surprising direction, leading to shocking revelations and further blurring the lines between falsehoods and reality. The future might hinge on the clan’s ability to untangle the lies and accept the ultimate truth.

Love all your stuff. This series is phenomenal!
I’m glad you’re enjoying the stories.
When do you expect to release The Jasper Brooch? I have absolutely loved your series. You write with so much historical facts and a fiction that absolutely captivates me. It’s very hard to put your books down. The only thing better than reading a good book is reading a good series of books! Please keep them coming 😊
Charlene, I’m so glad you have enjoyed the series. I’m hoping it will be in October.
Any time line for the audio?
Probably not until March/April.
I’m so hooked on this series! I’ve read, or rather listened to it at least three times, some of the early books even more. Waiting for the next audio book is torturous.
It is currently late April, any further updates on the audible release?
Kerry, there won’t be an audiobook for The Jasper. The book is longer than the others and the cost of production has gone up. I’m an independent author, and I can’t afford to produce an audiobook this time.
What about reader donations for the Jasper Brooch audiobook?
That would be nice, but I don’t think it’s feasible.
Ohooow! Excited! How close is the release?
By Thanksgiving.
Just curious… why no audio book for THE JASPER BROOCH? I usually buy both. I have already read the book and was really looking forward to listening to it as well!
